Tencel®: We recommend washing your Tencel® pyjama set by hand alone or with all white garments with cold or lukewarm water or with your washing machine with the hand wash option at a maximum temperature of 30° C (86 F). Please use a delicate liquid detergent (ph neutral or for silk, as it may otherwise affect colors and/or create spots), no spin and avoid to use the tumble dryer option or the drying machine.
We recommend washing your sleeping mask by hand with cold water only, using a delicate liquid detergent (ph neutral or specific for silk). Please avoid to wring the mask, rather use a a clean white cloth to soak up excess moisture and then lay the mask flat to dry on an even surface, avoiding sunlight exposure.
Silk: Silk is a natural fabric – variations in weave or finish are not considered flaws. Silk is extremely sensitive to heat and light, and it is recommended that silks be stored in a cool, dark, dry place when not being used. To maintain your Silk in the best possible condition it is recommended that you dry clean only from an experienced dry cleaner who uses the appropriate chemicals and temperature heat.
If you silk item becomes involuntarily wet, drip dry it in the shade and iron damp on the silk setting (when garment is dry ironing is easier if you put it in a plastic bag in the freezer overnight).
Be aware that:
• Washing may damage and soften the silk, shrinking it up to 3% and changing the drape of the garment
• you should not spot clean silk as it will water mark
• Silk dyes may run when washed.
Remember that washing your clothes takes a lot of water and energy; always choose to hang your clothes up to dry instead of tumble drying.
Please refer to the care label, where available, for specific wash instructions for your garments.
