Tencel®: We recommend washing your Tencel® pyjama set by hand alone or with all white garments with cold or lukewarm water or with your washing machine with the hand wash option at a maximum temperature of 30° C (86 F). Please use a delicate liquid detergent (ph neutral or for silk, as it may otherwise affect colors and/or create spots), no spin and avoid to use the tumble dryer option or the drying machine. We recommend washing your sleeping mask by hand with cold water only, using a delicate liquid detergent (ph neutral or specific for silk). Please avoid to wring the mask, rather use a a clean white cloth to soak up excess moisture and then lay the mask flat to dry on an even surface, avoiding sunlight exposure.
Silk: Silk is a natural fabric – variations in weave or finish are not considered flaws. Silk is extremely sensitive to heat and light, and it is recommended that silks be stored in a cool, dark, dry place when not being used. To maintain your Silk in the best possible condition it is recommended that you dry clean only from an experienced dry cleaner who uses the appropriate chemicals and temperature heat.
If you silk item becomes involuntarily wet, drip dry it in the shade and iron damp on the silk setting (when garment is dry ironing is easier if you put it in a plastic bag in the freezer overnight).Be aware that:
• Washing may damage and soften the silk, shrinking it up to 3% and changing the drape of the garment
• you should not spot clean silk as it will water mark
• Silk dyes may run when washed.
Linen: With proper care, linen garments can maintain their beauty and functionality for years:
Gentle Wash: Wash linen on a gentle cycle with cold or lukewarm water to preserve the fabric’s quality. Avoid using hot water as it can cause shrinkage.
Mild Detergent: Opt for liquid detergents over powder to prevent abrasion and maintain the fabric’s softness. Avoid using bleach, as it can weaken the fibers and affect the color.
Air Dry: Whenever possible, air dry your linen clothing by laying it flat or hanging it. This method helps maintain the shape and integrity of the fabric while reducing energy consumption. Avoid using a tumble dryer, which can cause wrinkles and shrinkage.
Avoid Wringing: Squeeze out excess water gently without wringing to prevent stretching or damaging the fibers. Roll the garment in a towel to remove moisture.
Ironing: If needed, iron your linen garments on a high setting while they are still slightly damp. This helps to smooth out wrinkles more effectively. Use a steam iron for best results and iron on the reverse side to avoid shine.
Stain Management: Treat stains promptly by blotting with a clean cloth and cold water. Avoid rubbing, as this can push the stain deeper into the fibers.
Storage: Store linen garments in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent fading. Use padded hangers for delicate items and fold heavier pieces to avoid stretching.
Popeline Cotton: To ensure the longevity and pristine condition of your popeline cotton garments, follow these simple care tips:
Gentle Wash: Wash poplin cotton on a gentle cycle with cold water to preserve the fabric’s quality. Avoid using harsh detergents. Do not wash this cotton fabric at too high a temperature – 40 degrees is enough.
Mild Detergent: Opt for liquid detergents over powder to prevent abrasion and maintain the fabric’s softness. Avoid bleach, especially with printed fabrics.
Air Dry: Whenever possible, air dry your poplin cotton clothing by laying it flat. This method helps maintain the shape and integrity of the fabric while reducing energy consumption. To avoid heavy creasing after washing, reduce the spin speed to 400 revolutions per minute, and evenly hang the damp cloth to dry immediately after washing.
Avoid Wringing: Squeeze out excess water gently without wringing to prevent stretching or damaging the fibers.
Ironing: If needed, iron your poplin cotton garments on a low setting, preferably with a damp cloth or with the garment turned inside out to avoid shine. For printed poplin, always iron on the left, unprinted side to prevent damaging the pigment print.
Stain Management: Do not confuse the printed materials if they get dirty on the surface, as this can irreversibly destroy the pigment print on the material.

Remember that washing your clothes takes a lot of water and energy; always choose to hang your clothes up to dry instead of tumble drying.
