Clothing: To ensure the longevity and sustainability of your Tencel™ clothing, follow these care tips:
- Dry-cleaning or Gentle Wash: We suggest dry-cleaning for the first time you wash your clothing. In general, use a gentle cycle with cold water to protect the fiber's integrity.
- Mild Detergent: Opt for liquid detergents over powder to prevent abrasion. Avoid bleach.
- Air Dry: Whenever possible, lay your Tencel™ clothing flat to air dry. This reduces energy usage and maintains the shape and texture of the garment.
- Avoid Wringing: Squeeze out excess water gently without wringing to maintain the garment's shape.
- Ironing: If needed, iron on a low setting with the garment turned inside out.

To maintain the allure and longevity of your Como silk garments, consider these care guidelines:
Dry Cleaning:
Hand Wash: if you can't use dry cleaning, always opt for separate hand washing your silk in cold water using a mild detergent.
Avoid Twisting: Gently press the water out of the garment without wringing or twisting, to maintain its delicate fibers and shape.
Dry Flat: Lay your silk piece flat on a clean towel, rolling it up to absorb excess water. Then, unroll and let it dry flat away from direct sunlight.
Steam Over Ironing: If needed, use a steamer. If you must iron, do so inside-out on the lowest setting.
Store Properly: Keep silk clothing in a cool, dry place, and avoid using plastic bags which can trap moisture.
